People as Wallets Only


“I like the tactile feel of the newspaper.  It’s just a perfect way to deliver the news.  If I try to read anything on my phone, it’s always popping up ads.  I really think the problem is the corporations think we’re just wallets–trying to get our money–and not people.  They have ads and things that pop us they want us to click to get us to buy.  That’s scary if that’s the world the young people have to live in, where corporations only treat you like money, or you’re of no use to them.”
